All B.E.S. students will be dismissed at noon, and there will be no afternoon programming for the Meri Center. We hope you have a wonderful afternoon with your student(s)!


Berlin Middle High School parents and caregivers, Monday, April 7th, is a professional development day for staff and an early release day for students. High school students will be dismissed at 10:55 a.m., and lunch will be served at 11:00 a.m. Middle school students will be dismissed at 11:25 a.m. Everyone have a great evening.

This Friday is our first ever BES Resource Fair for parents and caregivers from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM! Before or after your conference with the teacher on Friday, come to the gym to check out all of the amazing community resources gathered together for you! You will be given a passport to have initialed by different stations along the way, and those who turn in their completed passport are eligible for a raffle for a Wal Mart gift card, just in time for the holiday season! If you haven't scheduled your conference yet, reach out to the teacher today.

This is a reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday, November 27th, is an early release day. Elementary students are dismissed at noon, and middle school students are dismissed at 11:25 am. High school classes end at 11:00 am, and lunch will be served until 11:25 am. Tomorrow's early release day is followed by a two-day break as we celebrate Thanksgiving. Have a wonderful holiday weekend!

Good Afternoon Families; this is a reminder that there will be no school on Monday, November 11th, as we all honor and thank our Veterans this Veterans Day. Have a good weekend everyone and school will be back in session on Tuesday, November 12th.

The Berlin Elementary School PTO would like to thank the entire Berlin Elementary School staff including teachers, paraprofessionals, Unified Arts, Title I, the Transportation Department, the Speech Department, the Learning Center, and the school counselors and social workers for putting together amazing trunks for our Trunk or Treat event! Thank you to the BMHS National Honor Society, Key Club, JAG, and Educators’ Rising who had fantastic trunks as well.

Thank you to the National Honor Society, Alan Woodward, and Jared Lauze for their help in promoting and collecting the candy, as well as helping at the doors of the event.
Also our sincere thanks to Berlin City Auto, Hair By Dena, Caron Building Center, and the Berlin Elementary School Food Services Department for their donations! Thank you to the Androscoggin Valley Chamber of Commerce for allowing us to use the Heritage Park, and Bronson Frizzell for helping set-up and close out the event. Also, thank you to all the BES families who donated candy to the event.
The winner of the golden Best Trunk Award, voted by the kids, is the Transportation Department with their bus! Tied for second place was Fourth Grade’s Grinch trunk and the First Grade Grannies.
Thank you to all who helped make our 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat a success!
