BES Families and Caregivers,
This is a reminder that there is NO KINDERGARTEN today (Thursday) or tomorrow (Friday). Please enjoy the next two days with your kiddos while we register next year's kindergarten students.

COMING SOON TO BERLIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!
We are SO excited to announce that a Title I-funded Inchy’s Bookworm Vending Machine will soon be arriving at BES!
Students will have opportunities throughout the year to earn book tokens through reading achievements, kindness, positive behavior, Mountie Spirit Day rewards, birthdays, attendance growth, and more! The best part? Students get to choose and KEEP their very own books!
Our goal is to make reading fun, exciting, and rewarding while helping to grow a lifelong love of books both at school and at home. We can’t wait to work together as a school community to create meaningful ways to celebrate our amazing students through the book vending machine.
Stay tuned for updates as we get ready for Inchy to roll into BES!

BES Parents & Caregivers,
Don't miss the most comprehensive event of the year! Tomorrow at 5:30 at Berlin Elementary School we start our book fair in the gym, our open house for classroom visits, our art show in the cafeteria, and our America's 250th birthday gallery walk in the auditorium, followed by the band and choir concert at 6:30. Come shop for books, check out your student's artwork, visit with their teacher, check out their America's 250th project, and cheer on the band and chorus. Can't wait to see you at 5:30 tomorrow!

This is a reminder that our final day of Earth Week is tomorrow. On FRIDAY, our theme for the day is "Someone like you can plant seeds of hope." If at all possible, wear floral, animal, or camo print!"

This is a reminder that our Earth Week celebration continues throughout the week. On THURSDAY, our theme for the day is "Someone like you can make ripples of change." If at all possible, wear ocean themed patterns!

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to the unseasonably cold weather and potential precipitation, we will remain at school for our Earth Day activities instead of going to Heritage Park. Students who planned to bring a lunch still need to, as our lunch counts are already into the cafeteria. On WEDNESDAY, our theme for the day is "Someone like you can create a bright future for our planet." Wear neon colors!

This is a reminder that our Earth Week celebration continues throughout the week. On Tuesday, our theme for the day is "Someone like you can keep our skies blue." If at all possible, students should wear blue!

BES families and caregivers, this is a reminder that our Earth Week celebration begins tomorrow. On Monday, we will have our kickoff ceremony: Someone like you can speak for the earth. If possible, students should wear green. We are excited for another great week of celebrating good stewardship of our beautiful Androscoggin Valley!

Next week is officially Theme Week! Get ready for a week of spirit and fun.
Make sure you check the flyer below ⬇️ for all the details on what to wear each day, from Monday to Friday. Let's make this the most spirited week yet!
