Starting with a three-day institute with Polly Bath, NCES launched a multi-year project this week with 13 school-based teams to build or refresh their Multi-Tiered Systems of Support for Behavior.

“I have witnessed many great moments and experiences in the realm of professional development over the span of my career. The level of sustained engagement, the openness of teams to embrace the work, the desire to make a shift, and the general atmosphere over the three days was unmatched. There was something special about the energy of the participants and the readiness for change. I sincerely believe the work these teams are embarking on could have the most enduring impact of any project I have been a part of in my 27 years with NCES. I would put these three days among the most professionally rewarding days in my career. " - Dr. Lori Langlois, NCES Executive Director
