Odyssey of the mind is a program that promotes creativity and problem solving skills in high school students. In teams of five to seven people, the students work to create a solution to a problem that they have been given. They may work up to six months preparing their solutions. Once they have determined a solution they go to a regional competition in March. If they do well there they then proceed to a state competition and finally to the World Finals.
