Key Club stands for Kiwanis Educated Youth. Key Club International is the largest service organization in the world that is totally operated by teenagers still in high school. Key Club belongs to the "K family" which is made up of the Kiwanis Club for community business people and Circle K which is comprised of college students. The Berlin High School Key Club works with the Berlin Kiwanis Club on many community service projects throughout the year. Each year Key Club International introduces a theme for all club to base their projects on. This years theme is Kid's First. The Berlin Club held a coloring contest to help promote Halloween safety, answered letters to Santa, read to children at the local library, and other service projects which benefited the community at large. The highlight of a Key Clubber’s year is attending the New England District Key Club Convention in Springfield, Mass.
