DRIVER EDUCATION

Under the present New Hampshire state law, all persons must be 18 year of age in order to be granted a New Hampshire driver's license unless they have passed a certified driver education course. This course meets the state's qualifications. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be eligible to apply for a New Hampshire driver's license at age 16.

The course is composed of classroom work and road work. The classroom work, which consists of 30 hours is devoted to the development of proper driving techniques and an understanding and knowledge of motor vehicle laws. The road work, consisting of 8 hours behind the wheel, is devoted to the development of proper driving skills and techniques.

Cost of the course will be based on the current expenses at the time of the course. Students must be 15 1/2 years of age at the time of enrollment.
