"One tough, fun time during six days of learning about our government." This is one statement that accurately describes the unequivocal experience of Boys' State. Young gentlemen from across New Hampshire, as with others in other states, meet and reside together for six days to run a mock government of their state. They do PT in the morning, have three meals a day with snacks and gather for lectures or meetings all day long. Their residence hall also becomes a city or a town which they must run by electing officials and naming the city/town. The most outstanding city/town at the end of the six days is awarded a plaque.
