Berlin High School offers a Visual Basic class which is taught by Mr. Sweeny . The students in this class worked together with the BHS Web Team to make some of their projects available to the Internet community. You will find descriptions and download directions for the programs below.

The ProgramsNOTE: These programs will only work on Windows based computers. If you have Visual Basic 6.0 installed, then you do not need to download the DLLs. If you need the DLL files, download them first. The setup programs will be placed on your windows desktop. You may be asked to restart your computer after running setup due to your current system's configuration. If this is the case, run setup again after Windows restarts.
Mastermind and The DLLs This is the game "Mastermind" and the required DLLs. It was written using VB 6.0 Mastermind is a game of logic. You can play against the computer or another player.
The VB 6.0 code in .txt format for this program is available if you want it.Mastermind This is the game "Mastermind" for those of you that already have the DLLs. Concentration This is the game "Concentration". (Reminder: Download the DLLs first if you need them.) It was written using VB 6.0 Concentration is a two player game that requires players to find matching pictures hidden in the game board.
The VB 6.0 code in .txt format for this program is available if you want it.Graphing Calculator This is a Graphing Calculator that requires VBRUN300.DLL not included in the above DLLs because this program was created using Visual Basic 3.0. This Graphing Calculator should meet most of your calculating needs. Kala This is the classical game of "Kala". It requires Grid.vbx and VBRUN300.DLL because this program was created using Visual Basic 3.0 Kala is one of the oldest games in the world originating in Africa. It is a two player game where players try to move "Kala Beads" to their "home".
